HOMEOPATHIC PRINCIPLES:
‘PROVINGS’
Unlike many other ‘remedy/medicine’ research,
Homeopathic remedies are trialled on usually ‘otherwise healthy’ humans
- no animal trials in the first instance here -
and as such, has ‘proved itself as ‘safe research’ for over 200 years.
FIRST AN ‘INVESTIGATIVE’ STEP
Basically, in the ‘investigative’ stage,
a wide number of ‘otherwise healthy’ humans
- often including the researchers/developers themselves -
take a potential remedy one or more times,
and make precise notes of the ‘ill-effects’.
This builds a ‘picture’ of the remedy - its ‘character and personality’.
This provide ‘clues’ as to what aliment/s that a particular remedy
- under the principle of ‘treating like-with-like’ -
maybe useful to alleviate or maybe even eliminate.
‘SIDE-EFFECTS’ HIGHLIGHTED
When healthy people ‘investigate’ a remedy,
they are in effect identifying ‘side-effects’ or ‘negative-outcomes’ -
which are usually defined as undesireable, but for homeopathy,
these ‘negatives’ are the basis for creating ‘potential positives’
‘PROVING’ STEP
An ‘investigated’ remedy is then ‘consumed’ by people whose
illness/aliment symptoms closely match that remedy’s known negative-outcomes,
and if the remedy consistently alleviates or even eliminates those aliments,
then it is a ‘proven remedy’ - although to be fair, this ‘proving’
continues with each subsequent ‘in-field use’.
LOTS OF PEOPLE INVOLVED
There are many people that are very willing to take part
in the ‘investigative’ and/or ‘proving’ steps
EXAMPLE ‘REMEDY MESSAGE’
While a substance’s overall vibration may physically create a certain flower,
when put through a homeopathic process,
its ‘short-byte message’ to the human body may be -
“go to the heat-head switch, flick it and hold it there”.
WHAT MAY HAPPEN TO THE ‘HEALTHY’
When taken under a ‘investigating’ situation,
this could induce in an otherwise healthy person,
“a hot-head headache, with the rest of the body normal temperature”
- that is, the heat-head switch was off but was then turned on -
and held there, especially by subsequent remedy doses.
EXAMPLE SUBSEQUENT USE
If however a person was suffering from a heat-stroke headache,
taking this same remedy could alleviate or ‘eliminate’ that hot-head
- that is, the heat-head switch was on but was then turned off -
and held there, especially by subsequent remedy doses.
… ‘AND HOLD’ IMPORTANT
The ‘hold the change’ part of the message is an important homeopathic principle.
This expalins why a homeopathic-induced ill-health symptom (eg headache)
can not be ‘turned-off’ by subsequent doses of the same remedy.
If a remedy’s first action during ‘investigation’ is to
change the headache switch from ‘OFF TO ON’, then holds it there,
then subsequent doses of the same remedy will focus on ‘hold-switch-on’ -
that is, continue and maybe worsen the heat-induced headache.
Similarly though, when a heat-induced headache is already present,
the ‘flick the switch and hold’ message
changes the headache switch from ‘ON TO OFF’,
then subsequent doses of the same remedy will focus on ‘hold-switch-off’ -
that is, continue to alleviate and maybe even eliminate the heat-induced headache.
‘SAFETY ANTIDOTES’
Most non-tissalt homepathic remedies can be counter-acted (switched-off)
by a substance like a strong essence, or by a different ‘proven’ remedy.
This provides ‘safety’ for those involved during the ‘investigative’ stage,
so any serious reactions can be (fairly) immediately alleviated or stopped.
Alternatively, when a remedy is being used to alleviating specific symptoms
but is ‘not working’ or is making the existing ill-symptoms worse,
then its ‘antidote’ can be used to ‘clear’ the effects of that remedy,
so a another ‘well-selected’ and hopefully effective remedy can be used instead.
