TACKLED NECKAt high school, 15 years old.We were playing light-touch rugby at Pys.EdIt was all pretty simple and friendly, until …I had the ball and running as one does.So I was ‘the target’ to be tackled.And so I was.Hard. Around the head/neck.Felt like the bloke was trying to tear my head off.I was hurt. I couldn’t continue.Ended up going to hospital for x-rays.Not broken or dislocated collarbone.‘Badly wrenched’ was the diagnosis.Was strapped up with a bandage in a figure-8 patternunder the armpits and across the back of the shoulders.Do this for a week and you’ll be fine.I did it for a week.I wasn’t fine.My left clavicle, near the sternum, protruded out more than the right clavicle did.After a few decades, I tried a few specific exercises,which helped a little.This injury has definitely been an ongoing contrbutor tomy shoulder, neck and headache issues.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ (Back) To…Incidents Overview Page(Back) To…“S-P-C” Site Overview Map~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ WARNING:“Self-Physi-Chiro” may make it easier for you to form positive changes within and to your health/life.“SteveKineez”~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ For whole site overview, visit …Steve “Kineez” SITE MAPSite-Wide Disclaimer and Copyright Notices
