HOMEOPATHY
I acknowledge there are many styles of every health protocol/sector
and each Practitioner within, often has their own particular preferences/techniques.
STARTED YOUNG WITHOUT KNOWING IT
My mum’s mum - hi Mammar - used to have ‘special lollies’
that she often gave us when we visited her a young children.
These were very small lactose tablets of tissalts -
which we had to slowly let dissolve in our mouths.
It is more than a little ironic, that various forms of Tissalts is what I now favour
when using homeopathy as a primary health system.
RE-INTRODUCED DECADES LATER
During early 1995, I was suffering from regular headaches and neck problems,
which lead a friend to recommend that I go and see a very different type
of practitioner (homeopath) located in the our state’s capital city.
It was a very wierd expeience but he gave me a small bottle of remedy,
which I was told to regularly put a few drops into a glass of water that I then drank,
and when the bottle got half full, to top it up again with water
so to keep regenerating my own ‘supply’.
The remedy did do some good - it was Nat Mur -
but I found the whole logic of the system illogical!
YOUNG CHILD’S DIGESTION ISSUES
Our first born child was having digestion issues at about two or so years of age.
Again we were recommended to go to a homeopath - this time a local one.
We arrived and the practitioner connected some sensors to our child’s fingertips
and proceeded to do a number of ‘tests’ through the machine.
She gave us a couple of multi-remedies to use
- ironically one of the ingredients being Nat Mur -
and this was the real beginning of my journey into Homeopathy.
BECAME A ‘HOME PRACTITIONER’
The remedies for the child worked well, so I started to gather more info
and with the help of two other Homeopaths in the area,
I began to build quite an array of remedies for all sorts of health issues -
which also proved there own effectiveness.
SPECIALISE IN ‘TISSALTS’
Over the years, I began to specialise in Homeopathically prepared Tissalts
and these have proved very helpful in managing my pains.
